Support through bereavement

Has someone close to you died?

The death of someone close to us can be a devastating experience.

For some, life can feel very different, empty and meaningless as a result. The time taken to grieve a loss and the way people respond can vary. It's important to remember that there's no 'right' or 'wrong' way to grieve, and that people will experience different stages and reactions.

Our experienced team is here to support you during this difficult time in your life.

We have trained counsellors who can help you talk through your feelings and concerns in confidence, and help you find ways of coping with your loss.

If a bereavement has left you facing financial difficulties, our support officers can also advise you on any state benefits you might be able to claim. In certain circumstances, we may also be able to offer you financial help.

Please do get in touch with us if you're struggling with bereavement - we will do everything we can to help you. You may find that you just want to talk with someone about your loss, and we can provide that listening ear.

Call us free on 0800 009 2960 or email us and a support officer will get back to you.
