World Mental Health Day 2020 online programme
LionHeart is running a day of online events to mark World Mental Health Day this October.
The global awareness day runs on October 10th each year with the aim of raising awareness and reminding people that talking about mental ill health can save lives.
LionHeart will be offering RICS professionals the chance to join the conversation about mental health in an online programme planned for Friday October 9th.
Alongside another chance to catch our very popular Mental Health Awareness webinar, there will be two special 'In Conversation With...' events which people can log into and hear some first-hand experiences as well as more about the support that LionHeart can offer. Each will include some discussion and the chance to ask questions.
Jo Grant, LionHeart's wellbeing projects development lead, said: "In a year that has been particularly tough and often isolating for many people, mental health needs to be more on the radar than ever, which is why it's so important to keep the conversations around this sometimes tricky and uncomfortable subject going.
"We are delighted to be welcoming a number of our ambassadors to these online events as the stories and journeys they have to share are insightful and inspiring."
The online programme includes:
9.30 - 10am Mental Health Awareness Webinar
Another chance to catch our popular introduction to mental health - and why it should be on everyone's radar.
10.30 - 11.30am In Conversation With... LionHeart Mental Health Ambassadors
Five of our mental health ambassadors, all RICS professionals, will be sharing their own lived experiences, plus a discussion around mental health and live Q&A.
Chaired by Rob Edwards, one of our mental health trainers, your panel includes: Owen Gower, Steve Lees, Caroline Legg, Stuart Howison & David Sherborn-Hoare
1.30 - 2pm In Conversation With... LionHeart Support Team
